• A selection of resources I have used to complete my works (books, articles, newspapers, guides, dictionaries, maps, photos, etc.)
• News and announcements of events and presentations

And of course all of the above in Greek, English and Turkish.

«The Quay», a documentary film by Angelos Kovotsos shot in İzmir and Athens and based on the award-winning book «The Smyrna Quay», has been completed.
It includes English subtitles and will be broadcast for the first time on 17.9.2022 at 22:00 by (Greek) Cosmote History channel.

At the Athens Academy festive meeting on 19.12.2019, the «Smyrna Quay» by George Poulimenos and Achilleas Hatziconstantinou was awarded the Lycurgus Prize of the Order of Fine Arts and Literature. Six years of toil for the two writers have borne fruit...
